Who's Chelsea Maya Victory Johnson?

CHAPTER TWO: Early Life and Education

Chelsea Maya Victory Johnson was born on 13 March 1992 in Delta State, Nigeria. He is the first of five children. His father, *Omavuiweghre Onudoma Johnson*, hails from Olomoro, Isoko South, while his mother, *Beatrice Aforkoghene Itimi*, is from Araya in the Aviara Kingdom - a town known locally as the site where the Holy Bible was said to have fallen.

Johnson was raised in an Isoko household. His father, who did not have formal education, married Beatrice and the family first lived in Oleh, Isoko South. While in Oleh, his parents had two other children: Gift Johnson and Promise Johnson. His father later returned to Okpe-Isoko and worked as a security officer with Shell Petroleum.

In 1999, his mother relocated with the children to Ughelli. She settled near Isoko Garage, a busy motor park and market area in Ughelli. The park served as a major transit point for buses and tricycles traveling to Isoko towns, and a hub for petty traders. There, Mrs. Beatrice sold fresh tomatoes and pepper to commuters and market women.

The family later moved back to Araya, his mother’s hometown. There, Johnson attended *Owhawhonya Primary School in Araya, located near Adam Memorial Grammar School.

Due to financial difficulties, Johnson was out of school for about three years during his primary education. Around 2001, his aunt, Mrs. Dorcas Akpo Itimi, his mother’s elder sister, offered to take him to Warri so he could continue his schooling.

In Warri, Johnson resumed his education. He first attended Civic Primary School, a private school, then transferred to *Divine Favour Model School, and later completed his primary education at Ekete Inland Primary School.

The support of his aunt in Warri marked a turning point in his early education and laid the foundation for his later academic journey at Ekete Inland Secondary School and Orhuwhorun Secondary School.
