_Buy Me a Ticket to Heaven_ is a raw, emotional novel by *Chelsea Maya Johnson* that asks one painful question: _Can God still love me if I am who I am?_

Meet *Chelsea* — a good boy, an alto in the choir, faithful for years. To the church, he was the one people believed could "bring down the finger of God" when he sang. But behind closed doors, he was struggling with his sexuality. Liking men was a secret he buried deep, afraid of shame, afraid of losing everything.

After services, the guilt and loneliness would hit. Scrolling late at night, he stumbled on an X account belonging to *Kevin*, an adult content creator from Senegal. What started as curiosity became connection. For over a year they talked. When Kevin finally flew to Nigeria to see him, Chelsea did everything to hide it — especially from his church family.

But secrets never stay hidden. 
When the truth came out, the whispers turned into judgment. The same people who lifted their hands during his worship songs were now the ones pointing fingers.

Devastated and feeling abandoned by God, Chelsea hit his lowest point and attempted to take his own life. In that dark moment he wondered: _Did God fail me by making me this way?_

Now he’s left with one last desperate question:
